Chef Narja “Slim” Campbell

In the world of Culinary, I am better known as “Chef Slim.”

My culinary career started 24 years ago washing dishes in a well-known restaurant. As my career took off, I had the great honor of working as Sous Chef for the Governor of Florida. Today, I have extended my skills as Executive Chef in one of Tampa’s finest restaurants.  As I took my culinary journey, I was introduced to foods from America’s different regions.  One memorable place was one of the largest hunting ranches in the state of Texas, where as chef, I prepared all the meals from the wild game that was hunted on the ranch.  Working on the Hageman Reserve was a highlight in my career.  Although my skills as a chef have taken me to many places, the one lesson that I have learned is how to appreciate and respect the people I service. I believe that when this takes precedent, the service and the food you present will be respected and appreciated.

It is going to be my pleasure, along with my family, to share with you what we love doing best.

Campbell’s Catering began with a dream from a very young age.  I knew I wanted to create a memorable experience through food when I would watch my Mom in the kitchen preparing meals for us.  It has been my life-long aspiration to make this dream come true.  After much hard work, patience and perseverance, it is now more than a dream.  It is a passion unfolded.  With my family’s help, we can surely say, “We have arrived.”
